For a Cup of Coffee (“the site,” “we,” “us”) is a small community platform. We collect only what we need to run the site and we do not sell your information to anyone.
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you post an item we store your listing content and any photos you upload. When you send messages through the platform, those messages are stored so both parties can read the conversation. We also log basic usage data such as item view counts.
Your email address is used to send account confirmations, trade notifications, and messages related to your listings — only if you have email notifications enabled. We never share your email address with other users. All communication between traders happens through the on-site messaging system.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run advertising that targets you based on your personal data. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics that profile your behavior across other websites.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
Photos you upload to the site are stored on our server and displayed publicly alongside your listing. If your listing is removed or expires, the photo is no longer shown publicly. If you would like a photo permanently deleted from our server, contact us and we will remove it.
You can update your name and notification preferences from your account settings at any time. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the address below and we will process your request within a reasonable time.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using secure password hashing and CSRF protection on all forms. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your data seriously.
This site is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we make material changes to this notice we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
